...my heart cries out in pain for a dear
friend who was abandoned by her love. he was her lifeboat, so dependent on him
in calming the stormy seas of their voyage. and now she is left alone to
weather the storms, sailing wherever the strong winds will take her..not
knowing where to anchor for life...i just pray that she finds her peace
again...
When Love Has Gone
He left
She stayed..
and now…
she muses,
“Why does it have to be me?”
“No more songs for me to sing,
No more rainbow after the rain.”
Dreams fly and rivers run dry;
And her soggy eyes are left to cry.
The pain, the loss, she just can’t hide.
If only her heart would skip a beat
She wouldn’t have to feel the cheat.
A
thin line to escape the world
Oh God she prays for her to hold.
Will she ever smile?
Will she ever live?
Will she ever be out
And shout again?
Will she ever plead for life?
Now…
When his love has gone…
