Empty Head

I am too sleepy to think.
I am too tired to move my hands.
I am too lazy to work on my brain.
I am too drained to touch the keys.
I am not in the mood.
No letters.
No words.
No poem.
No vignette.
No story.
Just this.

This is all for now.

  2. You know, I've felt like this on occasion. I've even been known to nod off at the screen.

  3. Your poem makes me think about the effort involved in even crumpling one sheet of paper.

  6. Dear Jeannette: A poem about not being able to write; isnt that a paradox! So much like the writing process! jj Chiccoreal
